Killdoku Support
Killdoku works offline and requires no account. Progress and settings are stored locally, subject to your operating system’s backup settings.
Quick help
Hint
Select Hint on the game board. Hints are optional and separate from the case clues. Five increasingly concrete levels lead from a relevant clue to one safe next move.
Theory Mode
Select Theory to try a branch without changing your confirmed board. When finished, use the bar above the board to Apply or Reject the theory.
Objects reference
Open Pause → Objects to see every object in the current case with its image and name. The board header also lets you reopen the Dossier.
Languages
Killdoku supports Dutch and English. You can change the app language in Settings. Support requests are welcome in either language.
Basic troubleshooting
- Board seems stuck: review each clue, confirm that rows and columns start at 1, and use Undo before restarting the case. A Hint can identify a safe next move.
- App was closed: reopen Killdoku. Your active investigations are stored locally so you can continue.
- No internet connection: gameplay does not need one. Only opening the external privacy or support website requires a connection.
- Progress is missing: check whether the app was reset, removed, or restored through your operating system. Killdoku has no account or cloud sync from which support can retrieve a save.
- Problem continues: send the app version/build, platform family, language, what you expected, what happened, and the smallest set of steps that reproduces it.
Report a case problem
Open the case briefing and choose Report a problem with this case. Killdoku copies a safe report template containing the app version/build, platform family, language, case, dossier, difficulty, and grid metadata. It is not sent automatically.
Paste the template into an email, add clear reproduction steps, and send it to the monitored address below. Do not post the murderer or hidden solution in a public channel.
